"I was diagnosed some years ago with fibromyalgia, pleased in one way that the depleting illness I had was actually a recognised illness and I wasn't imagining it, but found it difficult coming to terms on how I was going manage this on a day to day basis. To say there was help out there was a under-statement because you looked ok, no broken bones etc, no-one really understood what you were going through, the constant 'flu' like pain, the tiredness due to poor sleep, the headaches, IBS, neck pain, jaw clicking, blood pressure etc. the list goes on.
